I. Olive Fruit Extract

For thousands of years, Greek, Roman, and Egyptian women have used olive oil as a moisturizer and for safeguarding their beauty. They recognized the natural health benefits that olive oil provides to skin: Softness, suppleness and elasticity. Girzi recognized the wisdom of our predecessors by implementing olive oil as the key ingredient in their products for the skin’s defense

Girzi’s olives are grown in the higher elevations of the mountains adjacent to Lake Garda in Northern Italy. With it’s unique climate, soil, and elevation, the olives grown here are of a superior nutritional quality. Girzi scientists cold-press the finest of these select olives, extracting the highest quality olive oil available in the natural world. The result is a unique extraction that contains potent antioxidants, vitamins, essential fatty acids, and nutrients that nourish the cell membranes of the skin, balance the skin’s natural production of sebum, and protect the skin from aging damage caused by free radical oxidation. II. Thermal Water

Thermal water is mineral-rich spring water. Since much of Italy was (and still is) active geologically with volcanic activity, mineral springs continue to produce popular venues for its therapeutic qualities to Italian lifestyles and healthy living.

Girzi products derive these mineral waters from the Dolomite Mountain Region, sixty miles northeast of Milan, near the Darfo Boario Terme Spa, one of the oldest and most accredited thermal spas in the world. The ancient hot springs of Boario Terme originate deep below the surface of the earth. These waters accumulate their mineral content as the circulate and filter through the rock aquifers, for at least 10 years before they sprout to the surface.

The healing attributes of these waters dates back to Roman times, but weren't harnessed until the 1700’s and continues to this day. Four principal mineral springs in the region provide the calcium, sulphate, magnesium, and essential trace elements that formulates as a key ingredient in all the Girzi products.

III. Torbe from Tuscany

Girzi is the only skin care company in the world that has the exclusive right to procure a clinically researched peat from Lake Massaciuccoli. Located one mile from the Mediterranean Sea, this 30,000 year old lake was once an open sea lagoon. When the sea receded, so did the lake, and it became fed by underground springs, organic matter, gradual sediment, layered over and over for thousands of years, over 30 feet deep. This resulted in a unique peat material so rich in purifying, mineralizing, and moisturizing properties found nowhere else in the natural world. Researchers found that skin conditions such as acne and psoriasis were improved, and powerful exfoliating skin properties of the body were achieved. Through extensive research, Girzi formulated this therapeutic mud into their face and body care products to complete the most natural and highest quality skin care line available to the world market.
