The Staff at Talega Day Spa strive to insure that your visit and experience will be completely enjoyable, beneficial, and memorable. We want your treatment, service, and experience to be unmatched and totally rewarding. However, to insure your successful experience is met, we ask that the following guidelines be followed to insure a smooth experience for all, and that you get the most from your visit.

And remember, questions, suggestions, and praise are always welcome!

  • ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: Please arrive at least 15 minutes early - 30 minutes if this is your first time - to allow for check-in and preparation for your unique spa experience. In order to stay on schedule, a late arrival can cut your treatment time shorter, while the normal fee for service will still apply. So please arrive early!

    Stay as long as you wish. Relax and enjoy the spa amenities and Tuscan ambiance before, between, and after your spa treatments. Just allow yourself the extra time to do so.

  • Please make sure you keep tabs of all your personal belongings during your stay, and upon departure. Check your locker, shower, sauna, robe pockets, treatment/relaxation room for all personal items when departing. Talega Day Spa will not be held responsible for personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged.
  • WHAT TO WEAR: When you arrive we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. For most spa treatments, you will be escorted to your locker, where you will find a cozy robe and slippers to change into. Our therapists are professionally trained to drape sheets discreetly over areas of the body not involved with the treatment. Please ask any of our staff if you are unsure what to wear for any given treatment. If you wish, you can bring your own bathing suit for a particular body treatment or hydrotherapy service. Please feel free to ask us, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible about your spa experience.

  • SHOWER FIRST: This is good idea for a healthy service and for the most effective use of our unique body and skin care products during treatment. Please allow extra arrival time if you plan to shower first.

  • SHOULD I SHAVE?: We suggest you do not shave before any of our exfoliating services. Men should shave two hours prior to experiencing a facial.

  • COMMUNICATION AND THERAPIST PREFERENCE: Our therapists and aestheticians are all professionally trained with extensive experience. Please let us know if you prefer a male or female. Do communicate with your therapist to ensure your satisfaction. This enables our staff to customize your service to fit your needs for maximum benefit to you.

  • SILENCE IS OK: We treasure your desire to relax and to be removed from our hectic world. We respect your need to have quiet and silence during your treatment. Please don’t feel you have to talk, we understand. However, we always welcome your comments and conversation.

  • SPA VOICE: Talega Day Spa is a refuge and sanctuary for yourself, and for others, and we need to separate from the outside world. Please turn off all cell phones and pagers, and speak softly throughout the spa and in the rooms.

  • DRINK WATER: Water is the key to purifying and exfoliating, and to enhancing body wellness. Many of our treatments and spa amenities will either result in bodily water-loss, or that we detoxify by cleansing ourselves from within. We encourage you to drink plenty of water before, during, and after all our treatments.

    We have purified water stations positioned throughout the spa for your convenience.

  • RESERVATIONS: Walk-ins are always welcome. However, to insure you best service, reservations are strongly recommended. Please have your credit card ready to guarantee the reservation.

  • CANCELLATIONS: We can all agree, time is our most valuable asset. As a courtesy to you, we will confirm your appointment one day prior to your appointment. To insure that service provided is as best as possible, we maintain a 24 hour cancellation policy for all appointments. If 24 hour notice is not provided, your account will be charged 50% of the service fee.
  • Regretfully, “no shows” will be charged the full service value.

    Same-day appointments that cancel are subject to a 50% charge of the intended service.

  • We appreciate your consideration in honoring our cancellation policy.

  • RETURNED CHECKS: A $15 service fee is charged for all returned checks.

  • RETURNS/EXCHANGES: Products returned within 60 days will be honored as store credit with a valid receipt. No refunds on prepaid packages or series.

  • CHILDREN: To insure everyone’s enjoyment of the serenity Talega Day Spa has to offer, we ask that children not be brought to the spa. However, some of our services can benefit children. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or authorized adult in the treatment room. All children under 18 must have a parent or authorized adult sign their consultation form.

  • GRATIUTIES: If you liked your treatment, please let your therapist or aesthetician know. Tips are not included in the price of services. You may do so using our gratuity box, or you may add it to payment when service is complete.

  • WE STAND BEHIND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Our therapists and aestheticians are professionally trained and proud of their work. They are here to promote your health, well-being, and psyche. However, they are authorized to stop any treatment immediately if they sense inappropriate behavior on the part of a client.
