Stress cam be triggered from many of our daily hassles. Hassles range from traffic jams to losing keys, arguing with friends to an employer's unrealistic demands. Researchers have found that there is a correlation between daily hassles and immediate health and psychological well being. A noted researcher, Hans Selye, looked at how stress and our response to it, translates into diseases. Through his research he came up with the general adaption syndrome, which is a series of bodily reactions to prolonged stress.   Selye found that continued stress leads to a stage of exhaustion in which the body's resources are strained and stress hormones are depleted. If a stress reliever in not found, the results could lead to a serious loss of health.
