Legacy League members are dedicated to giving time, skills, financial contributions and in-kind donations to make San Clemente the best it can be now and for generations to come. The group's mission is to work with other organizations, businesses, San Clemente residents, and the City to plan and execute long-term, lasting "bricks and mortar legacy" projects.
"Building a teaching kitchen and creating a working fruit, vegetable and herb garden at the Boys & Girls Club are the first two projects that we are taking on, partnering with organizations and individuals who share our vision," said founder Freda D'Souza. "Our members are excited to share with each other what we are passionate about. Our future "legacy" projects will make a lot of items on our 'wish list' realities."
San Clemente citizens interested in joining the league plus businesses, organizations and individuals interested in sponsoring legacy projects in San Clemente can contact Freda D'Souza via cell phone at (949) 374-4944 or via email at email@example.com.
